Tony Ellis
ABOUT THE POET
Tony Ellis is a free lance writer and poet. Originally from England, he has been a Fairfield resident since 1992. His first book of poems There is Wisdom in Walnuts: 27 Poems by Tony Ellis and a Couple by His Dad from which the poems in this collection are taken won a Chelson publishing prize from First World Literary Society in 2004. A second collections of poems, The Morning Tree: Poems and Reflections on Moving Closer to God, is due for publication in 2010. He also writes and blogs for the Iowa Source magazine.
