ABOUT THE POET
I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and then attended the University of California, Berkeley (receiving a B.A. in philosophy followed by a J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law). I was a founding faculty member of Maharishi International University in 1973 and served many years as Professor of Law and Government. I also served as Executive Vice President during the time the university was laying the groundwork for accreditation. I’ve been doing public interest law since 1996, when I founded the Alliance for Bio-Integrity. “Rendezvous” was written in 1984.
