Roger Pelizzari
ABOUT THE POET Roger Pelizzari is a bit invisible these days. In fact, for the past 16 years he’s a member of Maharishi’s Purusha group. After an MA in writing, after teaching creative writing, after some freelancing and song writing, he took a long look down the long corridor of time, and realized that what he really wanted could not be written. The Purusha trail has led him through cities and forests, across oceans, and prairies, and delivered him full circle, back to Fairfield. He has been seen walking through fields and standing by waters, and often heard singing inscrutably to himself. Roger has won poetry awards from Writer’s Digest and the Iowa Poetry Association. His poems have been published in Collecting Moon Coins, The Iowa Source, Lyrical Iowa, Unfolding Origami, and Rasa.
