Michael Hock
ABOUT THE POET
Michael Hock lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Most of his current professional work involves consulting with the State of New Mexico about how to provide high quality services to people experiencing co-occurring substance abuse and mental illness. He has done many things throughout his life, including ranching, carpentry and psychotherapy, and lived in many different places across the USA. Michael has been a long-time adherent of MasterPath, which naturally evolved from his practice of Transcendental Meditation. He writes a poem almost every day, and nearly all of them are praise and devotion to spiritual essence, and of course, his personal favorite, the Sat Guru and current Living Master of MasterPath, Sri Gary Olsen. He hopes that these poems are inspirational and open enough to include all people who strive to embrace spirituality, and recognize the joy and beauty of the journey homeward, even when it is difficult and challenging.
