Meredith Briggs Skeath
Meredith Briggs Skeath’s first poetry collection, Soultending focuses on spiritual insights gained through experiences of loss, mothering, and the Divine. Published by Glanzer Press in 2003, Soultending is available at www.amazon.com.
Meredith has an M.A. from M.U.M. and is a former teaching assistant at M.U.M., in both Santa Barbara and Fairfield. She has read her work on National Public Radio, at the Library of Congress, and Yale University, among other venues, and is published widely in periodicals. She has more than 40 years teaching experience and has taught writing in elementary through college courses.
Meredith lives with her husband and youngest of three children in Silver Spring, Maryland, where she tutors children and adolescents with learning disabilities, trains tutors, writes poetry and songs, and lectures to parents and teachers on educational issues.
