ABOUT THE POET

Margo Berdeshevsky is author of three books. Her newest poetry collection is ”Between Soul and Stone” (Sheep Meadow Press). Her ”But a Passage in Wilderness,” was also published by Sheep Meadow Press. Her honors include FC2’s American Book Review/Ronald Sukenick/ Award for Innovative Fiction, for Beautiful Soon Enough, a collection of illustrated short-short stories, (University of Alabama Press/ 2009). Other honors include the Robert H. Winner Award from the Poetry Society of America, The Chelsea Poetry Award, 7 Pushcart Prize nominations, & 2 Pushcart “special mention” citations for works in leading literary journals including AGNI, Kenyon Review, New Letters, Poetry International, Pleiades, The Southern Review, Poetry Daily, Fairy Tale Review, Pool, Margie, Nimrod, Runes, Chelsea, Confrontation, Women’s Studies Quarterly, Kalliope, Rattapallax, Many Mountains Moving, Poetry Review (UK), The Wolf, (UK.) Forthcoming: a cross-genre novel titled Vagrant.
